STOP! Don’t Mix Fruits with Milk

Who doesn’t like milk smoothies?

I do.

That liquidy, creamy, rich, fruity feeling in your mouth is just another level of joy!

But is it really healthy for your body to mix fruits with milk?

I doubt that!

So before it’s too late, let’s ask science what it says!

“According to Indian Ancient Science – Ayurveda, one should never mix fruits with milk.”

The Actual Reason – Why You Should Never Mix Fruits With Milk?

Fruits are simple sugars.

Compared to other foods, fruits tend to digest quickly.

Whereas milk is an animal protein.

Milk takes a little time to digest.

So in simple terms, one is fast and one is slow. It can’t digest well together.

So what? What’s the problem?

Well, listen to your gut.

Here are some facts you don’t wanna miss.

Number 1. When Mix Fruits with Milk, You Might Experience –

  • Gas
  • Acidity
  • Nausea
  • Sour eructation
  • Indigestion
  • Tired feeling
  • Bloating of abdomen
  • Heavy feeling in the stomach
  • Diarrhea
  • Aggravate asthma
  • Aggravate allergy
  • Aggravate skin conditions in some people.

“There are thousands of people who have a glass of smoothie as a wake-up call and they are fit and fine. But unfortunately, it is not true for everyone.”

Number 2. Weight Gain

Fruits contain fructose. Milk contains saturated and unsaturated fat.

So?

The combination can result in an increase in adipose tissue in your body.

Meaning, the accumulation of unwanted fat in your body.

You might gain weight – if you continue having a glass of fruits mixed with milk every single day – without a diet plan.

So if you are mixing fruits with milk, watch out for your weight buddy!

Cause, I don’t want to see you have chubby cheeks and a double chin.

Milk is good. Fruits are good.

You should nourish your body with a healthy amount of milk and fruits.

But separately.

Not in combination.

If I can’t Mix Fruits with Milk – What can I have with milk?

Figs, raisins, and dates can be taken with milk. They are sweet in nature.

Eating dates soaked in milk overnight is a very ancient practice in India to gain a healthy weight.

Apart from figs, raisins, and dates, almost all the other fruits are more or little sour – acidic in nature – whether fully ripe or not.

So fruits and milk together?

You don’t want to create a fight in your stomach, do you?
